I'm finally done with my summer semester and will be looking forward to my 3 weeks holiday!Not much of a holiday since I need to study for TOEFL but oh well,no deadlines and that's good!
I will be getting back to my usual blog reading and commenting routine so watch out! I'll be stalking,hehe.
Local Etude House brought in a new range of nail polishes!(well at least it is new in Malaysia) & new matte polishes in pastel colors!
I got the one in mint blue( I can't seem to identify the code for these,sorry >.<)
Not the best matte nail polishes around as it applies really streaky and need at least minimum 3 coats to have an even coverage. The nail polish on my thumb cracked slightly T.T the horror when it dried,are matte polishes like that??
The color is really pretty even thou I'm so used to glossy nail polishes. I never thought I would like this,it made my finger nails appear almost even sized <3
Another downside of this would be it turns slightly glossy days after application,almost like it loses its matte quality to it. The price is not that friendly either, MYR 9.90 for a small bottle(the usual bottle size of the regular range nail polishes).Judging by the rate I'm using it,it will probably finish in no time,3 thick coats for each finger,hmmph.

It is a really nice color but too bad the application is so streaky. I have a problem when I have to do more than 2 layers of color.

This color is such a pretty color! (: I wish I could wear matte nail polishes but I have like HUGE nailbeds T____T like HUGE!! haha so glossy nail polishes make them look smaller but matte ones will only accentuate it T___T wahhh~ oh well~ I wish I had etude house in the states~

Hi there, which etude house did you go to? I love that color but I prefer revlon's nail polishes or the ones that can be found at curve and sasa :)

3 weeks of summer is a LOTT!! my summer school ends on aug 25( well thats my last exam lol) and then i have classes again at the beginning of sept.. boo dont know exactly which day in sept soo i have no idea if i even have 2 weeks lol

I love it! I really need to start branching out on my nail polish. I always use the same colors over and over again...

Matte polishes can be tougher to manage sometimes but I really like this color on you! :)

I've never tried Etude polishes before. It's too bad these matte ones are streaky and don't apply too well. The color is really pretty though - it almost looks like an exact dupe for Tiffany & Co's blue! :)
I absolutely love matte polishes! I always think polishes are too girly for me but the matte effect always makes it better :). That is such a lovely colour, it almost looks like Tiffany blue!
