Picture heavy post ahead! :)
During the 1 week Raya break,I had nowhere to go,no hometown to return to,nothing as I am a pure KL breed(city girl). So I decided to roam the streets of KL which is usually jammed pack with people.
Here are some photos I've taken, enjoy!
A menu board of some yummy food at Lot 10 Hutong, a food court style eatery which was put together to carry all the famous food and delicacies you can find in KL. Those famous stalls/shops sets up their stall here. Talk about convenience.
Famous Mr.Siew Bao stall that sells all things pastry and some cakes to boot.
Cold dessert parlor, shaved ice and boiled desserts.
A random picture, you can spot me on the right of this picture trying to take this picture, lol. The place is designed to be old school, this is how it was like back in those days.
Famous people who visited the place before and this includes : Jimmy Choo,Michelle Yeoh,Martin Yan and a number of Hong Kong TVB actors and actresses.
On normal days, the streets of KL won't be empty like this. Rare times, rare times..
The newly opened Tokyo Street @ Pavilion KL. Hosting a few famous eateries from Japan. A small place but not to be missed.
Asian malls,6 floors of shopping heaven, can't see the UG here in this photo but definitely 6 floors.
Dropped by the only Sephora here in Malaysia, like finally, wanted to get some stuff there since I've already broken my shopping ban(another story for another post) but the place was packed,so I left empty handed. and thats Uniqlo next to it.
TEMPTING AIN'T IT?
IT IS FAKE!! Just some food display which looks good enough for my tummy to rumble.
Another milk tea joint. However this is different from the usual Gong Cha,Cha Time(Taiwanese) and etc because this is Japanese!
They have this drink that contains Ikura instead of the usual selection of tapioca balls, aloe vera and etc. Will definitely head back for more as the drink that I wanted to try was sold out.
Human size Domokun spotted! Sorry for the out of focus picture.
I don't know what car is this but everyone was snapping pictures so I had to. It was on display at the concourse area
Update on my boring life :
I went for a trial pilates class recently and boy was it tough! This shows how weak I've become and need to start working out soon or risk putting on weight and gaining the hated inches on my waist. Will be trying yoga tomorrow before I decide on which class to take. Definitely different from pilates but I will see!
Have a good weekend everyone! Hope everyone is well <3

btw the clinique acne moisturizer works great for me is I use a lot on one ppl (I dont use it as a face cream but an acne treatment) usually works for big zits.. it will help reduce the size but i think ive been using it too long that it doenst work anymore and will never beat my paula choice acne regimen!! but recently ive been trying a new regimen because paula choice is not working as fast as it used to!! but this supplement I taking is really good!! its opc 3 by isotonix!! also the best antioxidants in the market, so it keeps u looking young s2

Omg I love the pictures of KL! I don't have a kampung too, :( lol hi-5! I prefer being in the city during Raya, no hectic jams whenever its the Festive Seasons! :)
Oh wow love those pics! Thanks for sharing with us!!!
I want to go shopping in KL...
omg I miss the food! I went to Lot 10 the last time I went back and zomg the food was amazing (but a bit expensive ah). I miss Hokkien Mee so bad! *sniff* You'll know how I feel when you have your year abroad in the US. I wonder if it's easier to find Msian food in the US.
I've been reading about this Tokyo Street every where!! I need to go.
I actually prerfer pilates over yoga because yoga is just too slow for me and I'm such an impatient person. Also, I think yoga needs more flexibility? Something I have none of.
hi! happy days!:)

Thanks for the pictures~ I feel like shopping and eating now~ hehe.
I heard pilates is very tough but a great workout!
KL is my fave place in Asia! <3 fish spa is love
i miss roaming the streets of kl which i always do whenever i go back for a visit. hope they do something about the roads in kl.
ahhh the food looks great! I had a pilate dvd once and it was really hard too. Yoga is prob easier but pilate is much more effective a frd said..
omygosh.. how can be your life-boring?
love your adventures hun! love those foodie.. SEPHORA, asina malls ! gosh.. i want to go shopping >.<
disqus allows me to monitor my comments with ease that is why i decided to change :/
omg from the picture it does have some resemblance with the sephora building in malaysia! but Royal Ontario Museum is so so much better, its so pretty!
i gotta agree with you on it losing its effect after using it for a long time, thats why i never stick to a product unless it provides continuous results. I will give the supplement up a search! sounds like a super good product thou I don't really like to swallow anything.
hahaha i totally agree KL road traffic is crazy!!!!!!!!! cant wait to be back though.. miss the mamak food! :)
lovely blog! check out mine sometimes!
yay! i love looking through asia pictures especially food markets and food market foods :) hehehe
:D if you have the chance, please do :)
Will u be coming to KL in October? :D Well Sephora here is not huge, its just moderate, and to me its small, the design from the outside looks deceiving.
The Ikura is still new to me , I will update if I visit there again ^^
Its crowded at the popular places thou XD malaysians and their shopping
i totally agree! :D fellow kl-ians XD
Hi Lily! thank you so much for dropping by and commenting on this post ^^ I hope you get to visit Malaysia one day :) its small but packs a punch.
Sorry I took so long to reply your comment, been busy with studies the past few days to actually check out my blog O.O
I've already got a list of food that I for sure will miss when I leave T.T I hope to find Malaysian food there >.< or just learn how to cook, but that can't beat the awesome hawker stuff.
And about Tokyo street, its actually very small lol lol. Visit it the next time you come back :D
As for yoga and pilates, yah yoga is kinda slow and requires alot of stretching,i'm not flexible to start with. Had problems walking straight the past few days from the first yoga class. I prefer pilates too but very tiring for me to keep up because my stamina level is quite low >.<
Hi PheyS,where are you from ? ^^ fish spa is ticklish! sadly the trend died down a little and alot of fish spas closed down.
Wow fabulous photos - I love the street market in Asia!
^^ indeed pilates is much tougher than yoga but definitely a great workout!
i hope they do to but at this rate, its gonna remain the same XD
i gotta agree with you friend on pilates being much more effective with losing weight and body toning. its too fast thou, not recommended for low blood pressure ppl >.< wanted to vomit midway because of that, lol. but oh well, love the workout ^^
haha its boring on normal basis! back to college now so i don't have that much time to embark on adventures like that no more :( oh well. thank u for the comment ^^
Gaaah, I can't stand the food in Hutong, terrible terrible terrible. The only stall that I can stomach is Mr. Siew Bao...
oh BABE! you should have flown down to SIngapore where the latest H&M in asia was opened... well now that the line has died down ... perhaps it's time you make your way here!!! haha...
by the way i LOVE KL...
