Disclaimer : I am not paid nor sponsored by bornprettystore . I am just a normal customer of theirs.
I've been hauling a lot in the month of September on different occasions and this is part of my purchases. I totally failed on my 10 pan project, will show you my beauty purchases in another post.So this is one of the few stuff I've bought, mostly nail stuff.
My order on bornprettystore.com 's stuff came in almost the same time as the gifts from giveaways' I've won. A friend of mine helped me place an order for the stuff because I don't own a paypal account ( international peeps have to go through a lot of steps to own one if one do not own a credit card,so yeah) .
A shout out to Shermaine for helping me,thank you! =D
I've been eyeing this set of nail tools for the longest time and finally decided to get it after searching high and low for dotting tools that are reasonably priced which I failed to do.
This set was for about 11++ USD including free shipping. That translates to about MYR 32.
This set includes :
- A set of 5 nail dotting tools that comes in various sizes( based on the tip of the tool)
- A set of about 9-10 woodsticks( I really need to learn how to use these)
- 3 wheels of mini rhinestones for nails.
- 4 bottle of glue for nails.
These are the nail dotting tools I mentioned about. Good for polka dotting(lol a non existing term) your nails or can be use to draw pictures on it. You get about 10 different size tips, each tool with 2 ends.
The rhinestone wheels. Each with different shapes and comes in different colors. So one of the wheels arrived in a mess,2 were packed in individual plastic while 1 wasn't. So the rhinestones were everywhere in the envelope,I wish they package that wheel as well.
Conclusion: I rate bornprettystore 3.5/5 overall.Good quality stuff and prices are reasonable with free shipping. The only downside was the packaging of 1 wheel, somehow it just appeared to me like that wheel was used or was some rejected good,I don't know. I had to clean the spill of the rhinestone. The glue was not full, just half of each bottle.
End of bornprettystore story,lol.
Now onto nail polishes. My 1st purchase of expensive nail polishes. Compared to korean and drugstores, these are definitely expensive for me. Prices are higher here in Malaysia,if converted its about 18-19 USD per bottle. Crazy much? Luckily I bought mine online via wholesaler so prices are much friendlier and closer to the ones in the States.
- O.P.I Pirates of the Carribean Collection - Strangers Tide
- China Glaze Crackles Collection - Black Mesh
- China Glaze Metro Collection - Westside Warrior
- Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat( this is AMAZING,dries the nail polishes so fast <3)
And here are some cheap Daiso nail polishes.
All under the brand name Winmax. So no idea of their names. Got a nude, a glitter one(reminds me of one of the nicole by o.p.i nail polish, forgot the name, sorry) and lastly a supposed to be holographic rainbow nail polish.
Ever since trying Seche Vite,I'm hooked on changing nail colors often,so expect some nail polish swatches in the future.I'm so behind on posting, sorry guys!
Have a nice weekend everyone! :)

omg, i feel like a twin with you at the moment! I've spent so much randomly this past month!! Haha, i bought off BornPrettyStore recently and just got my order in the other day AND i bought OPI online (for WAY cheaper) and i got the OPI Stranger Tides one too!! ^^ haha Sucks to hear about the rhinestone incident.. maybe you should e-mail and let them know? :)
Oooohhh I love nail stuff! Nice haul! I have those dotting tools and they're so useful! I love the rhinestones you got. Can't wait for swatches and some nail art :D
Great haul! I love the rhinestone wheels. That's too bad they didn't pack it well though. You should probably contact customer service about it at least. And yeah I agree, China Glaze and OPI polishes are pretty pricey. I normally don't buy expensive polishes unless they're on sale. I love Seche Vite too - the top coat is amazing :D
Oo! :0) Can't wait to see what you do with your nails with these fun goodies! I recently got a bunch of rhinestones too, but that's so I can start a DIY Blinging out whatever project. :D
I'm definitely feelin that OPI Stranger Tides color! :)

lots of new stuff! *stary eyes* I've had some bad experiences with cheaper nail polishes so I only ever buy brands like OPI and China Glaze now...do you notice a huge quality difference?
Yay for dotting tools! :D I hope i can come up with some nail arts >.< its so time consuming! tried one finger the other day and gave up lol.
*HI5. What a coincidence! lol. Hows the OPI Stranger Tides doing for ya? and what did ya get from bornpretty? ^^ hmm i almost wanted to email them, but a friend helped me purchase those stuff,so I didn't wanna bother her(need to use her email and all) so oh well,i'll let it go this time. Thanks for the suggestion thou :D
Wanted to email them about it,but the stuff was bought under my friend's name and account,so I didn't want to bother her with this matter(requires me using her email) so ill let it go this time :/ thanks for the suggestion thou.
Yay for seche vite, boo for pricey nail polishes,OPI's chips quite fast for an exp brand :/
Ah,i've been through that too! so far korean nail polishes and daiso ones are not bad for their price but some can be streaky when applied or the brush sucks.
Quality wise,I noticed a huge diff with China Glaze,I love love their nail polishes,it lasts so long and doesn't chip easily. As for OPI,i'm a little on the fence,I had on Stranger's Tide few days ago and it lasted for only 2 days.It chipped and I noticed bubbles???? pops out of nowhere on the 2nd :/
Maybe its just the one I bought or the solution for the collection is diff, but oh well. I'm digging the colors from OPI and China Glaze, can't seem to find a cheaper alternatives for it XD
I've been dying to get those big rhinestones to bling out my stuff!!! Wouldn't it be nice to own something decked out in blings? XD I just need to find the time to do it,it can be so time consuming O_O.
Thank you so much for dropping by Jenny ^^ I love your blog btw :D and will be linking it to my blogroll ^^
Have a nice weekend !

hehe yeah, they are pretty time-consuming, but think about how pretty your nails will look? kekeke I usually do simply ones like dots or flowers. I also seldom do my right hand as I'm right-handed and it's hard to control
What a great haul! Love the rhinestone wheels! I've not heard of dotting tolls before, but they sound great. Happy creating!
